Welcome to Ensembles of Evergreen, a blog capturing still shots of student fashion at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington.

Evergreen is an unusual place. I've spent the last quarter of school in culture shock (having grown up in conservative small town America) and have been enjoying seeing the full range of fashion here on campus. My goal in starting this blog is to document current fashion in a specific place, foster a sense of community, and meet new people.

I am by no means a fashion blogger. In fact, I have very little consistent interest in fashion. But in keeping with the intrinsic atypical stylings of Evergreen, I am perfect for the job. I will be maintaining this project for as long as I see fitting. For the most part, this blog will consist of pictures of students whose outfits I find interesting, beautiful, amusing, or bewildering. I will post these images along with the students name and their answer to the promt "Tell me something about your outfit."

Just to start things off, here is yours truly on my first day at Evergreen.
